Face Data and Photos
Face Flip Party collects only the two photos that the user voluntarily selects from their device camera or photo library for a face swap request. These photos may contain face data because they include visible faces. The app does not collect a separate face template, face embedding, faceprint, biometric identifier, facial geometry map, or facial recognition profile.
The selected photos and visible face data are used only to generate the requested entertainment face swap image. Face Flip Party does not use face data to identify users, authenticate users, track users, build user profiles, train artificial intelligence models, or target advertising.
For production processing, the selected photos are encoded and sent securely to our Firebase Cloud Function. The Firebase Cloud Function calls Google Vertex AI using the server-side Google Cloud service account assigned to the function and sends the images to Google Gemini Nano Banana 2, using the model gemini-3.1-flash-image-preview, only to perform the requested face swap and return the generated image to the app. Face data is not sold.
Face Flip Party does not store the selected photos, generated face swap images, face templates, or face data in Firebase Firestore, Firebase Storage, or our own long-term server storage. The generated images are returned to the app and saved only in the device's temporary local app storage so the user can view or share them. Temporary local files may be removed by the operating system or when the user removes the app.
Server-side face data is retained only for the time necessary to process the face swap request and return the result. We do not keep face data after processing is complete, except for transient processing, security, and operational logs that do not intentionally store the photos or face templates.
Other Data
Face Flip Party uses Firebase services to provide anonymous authentication, credit balance management, purchases, and secure image processing. Firebase Firestore stores app account data such as the user's anonymous Firebase user ID and credit balance. It does not store the user's selected photos or generated face swap images.
